All yoga classes are community classes designed for both the beginner and the seasoned yogi. I offer suggestions throughout class on how to make modifications using yoga props (e.g. straps, blocks, chairs, blankets). The Friday class is a little slower paced (nice for beginners and seniors) with specific suggestions for using modifications such as chairs, blocks and straps. I teach in the spacious Fellowship Hall at Rise Church, in front of the fire with large windows to gaze at the Doug Firs and plenty of space to spread out. We have a closet full of yoga props to assist you in your practice including yoga bolsters, blocks, blankets, straps, grounding sand bags and soft eye pillows for your use during our final rest pose, Savasana. All classes are taught in person as well as live-streamed via Google Meets (links below). Please wear comfortable clothes, we typically practice yoga in bare feet.
